IP Addresses with the most vists
Have you ever looked through your logs and found out which IP Addresses visit your sites the most? You guessed it, most of the time they are spiders or bots of some kind. In my case it tends to be Teoma. This tends to work well for finding spiders that come from a limited number of IP Addresses while they are still really active. This does not work so well for Spider Like googebot, which seems to have an unlimited number of IP Addresses. They appear to only visit a few times from one IP then switch to the next IP. That way they don’t look like anything more than a normal user.
