Spyware PopUps
A client of mine had me come out to their home the other day to clean up their computer. It was loaded with so much SpyWare that I couldn’t even connect to the Internet to download updates to Spy Bot. Luckily Spy Bot 1.3 got enough of the problems resolved with the default data files that I was able to get on the Internet and get the update. During the whole process I kept getting one PopUp message over and over again. “Warning: You may have Spyware on your computer!” The annoying gaul that someone must have to write a Spyware program that infects your computer and slows it down to the point that you are willing to purchase Spyware removal software from anywhere just to get rid of it. Mostly I was annoyed, my client was happy to get back on the Internet and it was all thanks to Spy Bot, which is free/Donation-Ware in case you didn’t know. (Must really upset those that would sell software that is hardly as good as this….)
