IP Address Database
I’m building an IP Address database. I’m going to have a lot of basic information for free and then I’m going to turn the detailed information into a subscription service. I’m going to have IP address, reverse DNS name, DNS name Search, user agent list, user agent Search, Number of cookies used per visit, number of visits, a visit richter scale and as many more ideas as I can think of. Or better yet, how many ideas can you think of? If you ever wanted to get a list of every IP address that has googlebot in the DNS name, or Inktomisearch in the domain name, this is going to be the tool. I’m also thinking about adding some historical queries for the RBL Lists. As a membership service I’ll check IP addresses to see if they are on the RBL and exactly what days they are on or off the list. I’m hoping to have the Arin whois data in the database as well. The database will be at http://ipd.spiderhunter.com I’m actively working on it, so if it gets broken, then I should have it fixed soon. But expect me to break it every one in a while. In the long run, your ideas for this today will make it better for everyone in the future.
