Over 1,000,000 IPs in the database

Actaully it’s over 1.1 million IPs in the IP database. I think it turned over 1 million yesterday sometime, but I noticed it this morning. While there are 4+ billion IPs for use on the Internet using IPv4, not all of them are in use for surfing, I mentioned this a few days ago, but I’m begining to think it’s far fewer then I had even thought before. Some other stats that you won’t see right away at http://ipd.spiderhunter.com, but I have 27,224 ASNs on record now. Best I can tell that is all of them that are currently assigned, or close enough to all of them. I’ve collected 343 different NetHandles since yesterday. These are going to be great for isolating the IPs that anyone is looking for. Oh and I am almost finished with the script that will collect the City, State and ZipCode data for each of the NetHandles. More work later :-)
